This cultural and educational non-profit initiative is devoted to promoting the Hungarian language and the heritage of Hungary around the world. Founded on the belief that language is the key to understanding identity, history, and human connection, we offer high-quality resources to all who wish to master Hungarian or simply reconnect with their cultural roots.
Our passionate team of Hungarian language educators, writers and content creators combines academic rigour with practical teaching experience and a deep knowledge of the language. We develop clear and engaging materials that help learners understand the complex grammar, expand their Hungarian vocabulary and build their confidence through meaningful real-world content.
We are proud to offer a carefully structured Hungarian Language Course that integrates Grammar, Vocabulary, Cultural Insights, Audio Podcasts, Practice Exercises. This course is the fruit of years of dedication and feedback from learners globally. It reflects not only our educational method but also our mission to present Hungarian as a vibrant, evolving language. Beyond language teaching, we want you to understand the events, debates and developments shaping Hungary today. Marketing Head
Lucia is a marketing professional from Košice, a city famous for its beautiful architecture and rich cultural heritage. After earning a degree in Languages, she moved from classrooms to newsrooms, developing style guides, commissioning articles, and coordinating editorial projects for multilingual audiences.
She loves exploring Slovak gastronomy and often prepares traditional dishes like bryndzové halušky and kapustnica in her kitchen (see our Culture section for more). She is also a language enthusiast who speaks three languages fluently and enjoys sharing practical learning techniques with fellow students. When she is not contributing to the website, she loves spending time with family and friends, especially in the charming cafés of Košice!

Senior Language Content Creator
Software engineer from Bratislava, with a passion for technology and spreading Slovak culture online! He also enjoys Slovak folk music as well as hiking in the breathtaking landscapes of his home country, such as the High Tatras and the beautiful shores of Lake Štrbské Pleso.
What more to say? We would describe him as a friendly guy who enjoys debating current affairs. After work, you’ll often find him sipping a coffee at a local café while reading a newspaper article on his phone.

Born in Žilina and raised on a steady diet of Slovak literature, folk songs, and theatre, Martin has always viewed language as more than just rules. It’s a living, breathing expression of identity and culture. After earning his degree in Slovak Linguistics and Literature, he spent several years teaching Slovak to international students and creating educational content for language learning platforms.
Now a Language Content Creator on our team, Martin brings together academic rigor and a love for spoken, everyday Slovak. When he’s not writing or editing, you’ll likely find him wandering through antique markets, scribbling phrases in his notebook at a café, or cycling along the Váh River, always observing, always absorbing.

Emma was born in the United States, in a multicultural neighborhood where languages mixed as freely as the weekend potlucks. Though her roots were Slovak, her grandparents having emigrated from Bratislava, she grew up speaking only bits and pieces of the language at home. What began as a vague curiosity about her family’s background slowly turned into a lifelong passion for the Slovak language and culture.
Beyond teaching, Emma works as a writer and editor, contributing to Slovak language learning platforms, developing curricula, and hosting workshops on idioms, gestures, and everyday expressions. She has a special love for Slovakia’s breathtaking natural landscapes, from hiking the spectacular trails of the High Tatras to exploring the peaceful valleys, winding rivers, and forested mountains of the countryside. Whenever possible, she enjoys riverside walks, mountain adventures, and discovering hidden corners of Slovakia’s remarkable wilderness.
